Christopher Jeffery is editor-in-chief of Central Banking Publications, which includes the Central Banking Journal, CentralBanking.com and Central Banking On Air. He has more than 15 years of journalistic experience covering banking, business, economics, finance and public policy in London, Hong Kong and New York.  He is founder of the Central Banking Awards, set up to recognize excellence in the central banking community, as well as the IFF China Report, a publication offering insight and opinion from China’s top policy-makers. Chris was previously editor of Asia Risk in Hong Kong and deputy editor of Risk in London.

Marko Škreb

Marko Škreb, Former Governor, Croatian National Bank

Marko Škreb started his professional career teaching at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics as teaching assistant and moving to associate professor. Afterwards, he joined the Croatian National Bank, first as research and statistics director and then as Governor (from 1996 to 2000). In 1997, he was awarded the Central European Annual Awards for Excellence – The Banker’s Best Central Bank Governor by the Banker. Since 2000, he worked as consultant for International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in numerous countries, mostly in southeast Europe. He worked at the Independent Evaluation Office of the IMF in Washington DC from 2004-2005. Presently he is working on USAID financed project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, focusing on central bank reforms.

Philip Wang

Philip Wang, Senior VP - Enterprise Strategy and Business Development, Openlink

Philip Wang has been with Openlink since 1997. His current responsibilities include driving strategic direction for Openlink products and services. Prior to this role, Mr. Wang spent 17 years leading the financial services product management team and has held numerous roles in account management, consulting and project management. Mr. Wang has been heavily involved with the central banking community, acting as a primary liaison with Openlink’s central bank and financial services user groups. Prior to Openlink, Mr. Wang worked in the Treasury department for Boeing, where he was responsible for cash and risk management. Mr. Wang holds a Master of Finance from St. Louis University, an M.B.A. from Maryville University, and B.S. and M.S. degrees in Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

 

Eric Wolfe

Eric Wolfe Former Deputy Chief, Funds Management and Banking Department, Bank of Canada

Eric Wolfe has over 25 years applied experience in market, credit and operational risk management. HIs experience spans the globe and ranges from macroeconomic modelling, to central banking and the implementation of post-crisis Basel reforms. He is a noted authority and frequent speaker on enterprise-wide risk management. Eric received an M.A. in economics from the University of Toronto, is a CFA charter holder, and has been granted the Professional Risk Manager designation.
